Hundreds of centers of siddha meditations were established all over the world.


To continue his works, He initiated many people into sanyas. One of the sanyasis was a 19 year old boy, whom baba named Swami Nityananda. For Baba "Nityananda was God incarnate".

                                                                      

When asked why he had given this name to young sanyasi, he said, " I have installed my Guru Nityananda in him".


In 1981 in front of thousands of people gathered for guru poornima celebration in America, Baba Muktananda placed a garland around his neck and declared Swami Nityananda- then aged 20 years as his successor. On his return to India..in may 1982 in presence of thousand of devotees gathered in GANESHPURI- a formal ceremony- " PATTABHISHEK" was officiated to install him as ONE OF BABA'S SUCCESSORS........

Baba's Talk On " Prasad"

Ques) Should one gladly eat the prasad received from the Guru even if it goes against one's vow or condition forr example if one who has dysentry or diabetes take sweet?

Baba: The prasad received from yhe guru should be taken according to one's faith,understanding and courage.
Swami Ramkrishna paramhansa contracted cancer. When he was being operated on for that disease, his disciples were standing around. They all were taking precautions..by covering their mouths and wearing aprons. After the operation, the doctor took all the cancerous part in a bottle.
Swami Vivekananda came in and was happy to know that operation was carried on successfully.When he asked doctor about the operation...doctor showed him that bottle having cancerous thing.
Vivekananda took it and gulped it down.


Doctors were very upset that he drunk that and were afraid he would get cancer and would have to be operated upon.Swami Vivekananda said " Don't be frightened, It may be a disease to you but to me it is a pure nectar! "


Vivekananda Didnt contract cancer ..that fluid proved to be a nectar for him!
