Shanti Darshanam

Shanti Darshanam is a program of residential courses o ffered at the ashram in Magod. Yoga asana, pranayama, Ayurveda, meditation and chanting are amongst the full range of practices covered. Course participants explore the universal principles of the Sanatana Dharma, through study of the ancient wisdom derived from the Vedas, the source of spiritual inspiration in India. In this way the courses represent an opportunity to explore the complete spectrum of yoga wisdom, in order to develop a practice that unifi es self enquiry, physical balance and spiritual endeavour.

By off ering these study programs, Shanti Darshanam is expanding an important undertaking inspired by Gurudev Nityananda to preserve the extraordinary legacy that this knowledge represents. The courses are facilitated by quali fied teachers and conducted while Gurudev is in residence at the ashram.

Darshanam is a Sanskrit word with great depth of meaning: to see, not just with the eyes, but to percieve and have insight into something that is profound. Shanti means the steady experience of peace that can’t be disturbed.
